What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

In the event that the weather is bad or is expected to be bad, we will need to reschedule your session for the safety of both you and your pet.

How do I select a location for the photo shoot

During the planning session, we can discuss potential locations based on where you live, your dog's personality, the types of artwork you're interested in and what you are envisioning for the photo shoot.

My dog doesn’t know any commands or has never had any obedience training. Will that be a problem?

While knowing basic commands can be helpful, it is not a requirement and will not in any way affect our ability to capture great photos of your dog. We've captured great photos of dogs with all different levels of training knowledge, even dogs that don't know the Sit command.

I don’t want my dog’s leash to be in the photos, nor do I want to be in any photos

In public, we recommend that your dog be on-leash at all times for their safety. The leash will be digitally removed in any finalized purchased products. We will also offer suggestions in our planning session on leash length, type and colors to assist in digital removal. We've included two samples below that show the image directly out of the camera and the final edited image.

These prices are expensive! Why does this pet photography cost so much?

Our professional photography studio offers a customized photography experience for you and your pet. This is different from going to JC Penney's for a portrait print. A lot of behind the scenes work goes into creating these amazing pictures of your pet.

This starts with the planning of your session to ensure the experience is great for both you and your pet. Then once the photo shoot happens, it doesn't stop there. We typically will capture hundreds of photos during your session which we will need to go through to pick out the best ones to show you.

After you decide on which products you want, we need to put the final touches on these images to ensure they look magnificent hanging in your home or when you're showing them off to your best friends. Lastly, we need to work with our professional photography labs to make sure your final products look great
